Biofinity are a silicone hydrogel continuous wear contact lens designed to be worn daily for up to 30 days. Although many people wear them as continuous wear contact lenses for up to 6 consecutive nights, taking one night off before repeating up to 4 weeks, this is so that your eyes are given 1 night free of contact lenses every few days, helping your eyes stay hydrated and healthy.
Biofinity are one of the few contact lenses that you can safely sleep in.It is not recommended that you sleep in contact lenses unless the contact lenses are designed for that purpose and prescribed get your Optometrist for overnight wear.
A Toric contact lens is designed to correct astigmatism and your vision, so they are a little more complex requiring two prescription, one to correct your power and the other to correct the shape of the eye.
In non-astigmatic eyes, the corneas will be both smooth and spherical, thus allowing light to enter the eyes evenly. Astigmatic eyes, however, often have unevenly shaped corneas that warp how light penetrates the retina. It is commonly referred to as a 'rugby ball' shaped eye - however, it is very subtle, you cannot see it by looking at your eye!
You will notice Toric contact lenses have additional information relating to the fit of the lens, the Axes and Cylinder powers helps correct your astigmatism by allowing the focusing of powers on both the horizontal and vertical lines.A Toric contact lens needs to remain stable in your eye and not rotate when you are active or blink, so the manufacturers use different techniques to stabilise Toric contact lenses
CooperVision use their Optimized Toric Lens Geometry™ to stabalize Biofinity Toric contact lenses providing both clarity and comfort. Coopervisions Optimised Toric Lens Geometry also provides clearer vision by reducing lens movement when you blink.

Have you bought any contact lens solutions for your lenses?
It can be difficult to get the correct prescription when you have an astigmatism but with Biofinity Toric this has not been a problem for me.
I have found it to be a good reliable product which has lasted the month, giving clear vision & remaining comfortable to wear until the time
the lens is due to be changed.
Great service. Providing me with the exact same product my optician prescribed but at 50% of the cost. This makes a big difference for me as they are monthly contact lenses which never actually last a month due to over wearing them. I can have fresh lenses more often at this price.
